Community Yoga

S.W.E.L community yoga classes are largely Hatha yoga based but we do experiment with Yin and Ashtanga from time to time.  The classes can be as gentle or strong as you choose to make them - depending on your strength and flexibility.  All sessions are modified and adapted to suit all abilities.  Sandra has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and has been a qualified yoga teacher for 6 years.  She is a firm believer that yoga is a practice that benefits every body. The benefits of breath-work along with postures and relaxation techniques can make such a difference to stress levels and feelings of well-being in our busy lives.

Yoga Class Scene

Some people can feel intimidated by starting something new but our classes are friendly, welcoming and fun - and do truly have a community feel.  If you have always wanted to give yoga a try but haven't taken that first step onto a mat yet, you are always welcome to come along and try it out.

Community yoga classes cost £8 per class on a pay as you go basis.  There is no need to book - so if you suddenly decide today is the day you want to have a go, you can simply turn up!

Where can you find us?

As S.W.E.L Well-Being is based in Lancashire, classes are local to the area.  However, if you are a teacher or school leader, keep your eye on our social pages for the possibility of winning a free yoga session for your school.
